Rory is Managing Director of creative agency, ROR creative. Over 20 years experience managing, creating and activating brand identities and communication material, for corporate and consumer global brands. Proud to establish and continue to raise the Press Justice Project brand in its endeavour to support victims of press abuse.

ANDY LYALLE

COUNCIL MEMBER

Andy brings over 30 years’ experience in the legal services sector and currently serves as a Senior Business Development Manager. Working nationally, he specialises in ATE insurance and disbursement funding, with a strong focus on commercial dispute resolution.

He also has extensive experience advising on employment protection schemes, as well as personal injury and clinical negligence funding solutions.

As a member of The Press Justice Project’s Council of Ambassadors, Andy contributes valuable industry insight and a commitment to improving access to justice.

Vanessa is the visionary Founder of Maxima Litigation Services and Co-Founder of Maxima Litigation Finance Ltd, where she has spent almost two decades reshaping how complex disputes are funded and insured. She has become a trusted partner for solicitors, litigants, and industry leaders seeking strategic, commercially sound solutions.

Her work in the Media & Entertainment industry has become a hallmark of her career. Vanessa has supported some of the most prominent figures and high-stakes group actions in the sector, often navigating sensitive, high-profile issues that demand creativity, discretion, and bespoke financial structures.

Rachael is an experienced disputes lawyer across sport, media and entertainment with a specialist practice in defamation, privacy, media crisis and reputation management, which she has handled at the highest level for newsworthy clients against national and international media outlets. Described by the Legal 500 (Media and Entertainment) as “Next Generation Partner” and “the one to watch – she is exceptional” Rachael is also ranked at a national level by the UK Wide Chambers Guide for Defamation and Reputation Management lawyers, an elite list of advisers.

As a qualified solicitor, accredited mediator, and former press regulator, I bring a rare understanding of how media narratives, stakeholder expectations, and legal risk can intersect.

ANNA NICODEMOU

Anna is the Treasurer of the Press Justice Project, bringing over 20 years of international experience in data governance, compliance, and organisational accountability. She specialises in building and embedding enterprise-level data governance and quality frameworks, with particular expertise in regulatory alignment, data stewardship, and risk oversight.

Anna has advised senior leaders across financial services, healthcare, and global corporates and has extensive experience leading cross-functional teams. Known for combining strong technical insight with a commercial mindset, she brings disciplined, transparent, and strategic financial oversight to the Press Justice Project, supporting its mission through rigorous stewardship and sustainable financial management.

ALEX COCHRANE

Alex is a Partner and he heads up the Edwards Duthie Shamash Media Law team. Alex advises on all legal areas relating to reputation management with particular expertise in defamation, privacy, breach of confidence and harassment. He has acted for many prominent figures in the sports and entertainment sectors and he has a wealth of experience in dealing with disputes involving social media platforms and online reputational issues.

Louise leads Marketing and Events at top commercial set 4 New Square Chambers. She oversees Chambers’ full client engagement programme, from flagship receptions and high-level networking to specialist conferences and seminars, and drives its digital content strategy across video, podcast and online channels. Her work strengthens Chambers’ market positioning, showcases its expertise to key audiences and supports the practice growth of its barristers.
